Bro, My reaction over the other day was one of rebellion. I knew that what you said was truth and the truth hurt. My own self-righteous pride was hurt and that was the sum total of my response—my self-righteous pride.
And I threw up walls in childish anger. Now I am ashamed. And I am so very sorry. They say the ones we hurt most are the ones we care about. All the things you said were painfully true. Then today, when you answered my email the way you did, I tried to cover up my pain and fix the damage I caused.
By admitting this now, I am taking down the walls I built the other day plus some others that have been in place most my life.
Don't you dare think I want you to stop "interfering in my personal life" as you put it. I have NEVER thought of you as interfering. NEVER.NEVER.NEVER.NEVER.
I value everything you have ever said and shown me. I even value what happened today as it has enabled me to admit my childishness
Can you forgive me?
