So much in Christianity today seems upside down, and is too often ineffective in reaching the world around them. Everywhere you look, Christians are fighting other Christians over things that do not truly matter; while others are blinded to everything except their own personal dramas. Somehow we need to take our eyes off ourselves and fix them where they ought to be—on Jesus. What the church needs—what we all need is a personal revival of our walk with God. Only then can we truly be the salt this world so badly needs.
If you desire to take your walk with God to a new level, or to simply reignite that first love that once burned bright for your God, then I encourage you to make Primal, by Mark Batterson the first book you read in 2010.
About This Book
Our generation needs a reformation.
But a single person won’t lead it.
A single event won’t define it.
Our reformation will be a movement of reformers living creatively, compassionately, courageously for the cause of Christ.
This reformation will not be born of a new discovery. It will be the rediscovery of something old, something ancient.
